I just came across your blog and I read several blog entries and I must say it´ is very helpful. Building a bridge between ACT and compassion focused therapy is in my view the best thing to do. I liked especially so much that you included the deitic framing oft RFT in your explanation of the technique helping seeing her treating herself with harsh criticism from the outside. And establishing from this perspective a sense and unterstanding for the relationship she has with her self. And that this relationship is like every other relationship an ongoing process, and that you can learn to treat your self in a kind way like you may treat already others. Keep on going ! !!!!
